First, fly into Athens on a budget airline and head directly to the port, it is advisable to buy your tickets at the port directly. Sailing Islands is complete package, your transportation is taken care of and you can proceed to book nightly stays in hostels at the several islands you will be visiting. It is important you note that island hopping simply connotes that you will be sleeping on a different island every night. This requires careful and thoughtful planning. It is advisable to use the services of an Agent at the port but please be careful as these agents can be very tricky and cost you more money.
